Professions 2022

Novices Preparing for First Vows

Ready to commit their lives to Christ

First Profession

2022 Another year of new members, with new names and the veil of Religious Life

A Joyful Day!

Beginning now to several years of additional discernment and service to Chirst, the Community and those we serve.

Now a Professed Nun

Now a life totally given to the promises according to the Rule of St Benedict

Our Benedictine Tradition: Life in Common

Animal Husbandry

We raise chickens, hogs, dairy cattle, goats & sheep. Providing our eggs, milk, sausage, pork, beef and other staples for our entire community.

Processing the corn for entire year.

Growing our food

Most of our daily needs are the fruits of our labor.  For example we grow and harvest all the corn needed as our staple for the entire year.

Community Prayer

And most importantly coming together to pray the Divine Office 7 times each day
